US State Agency Reduces Scope of Conversion Project from Natural to C# After Assessment Results

A US State agency wanted to know what options they had to move from their legacy Adabas/Natural platform. Modern Systems performed a completely automated assessment of their existing application and discovered only 2,300 of the 3,900 components were being used. This reduced the scope of the task significantly and Modern Systems was able to provide cost and time frame estimates for both a conversion to C# on a variety of databases or a modernization effort to C# or Java. The State agency now has the information they need to determine their future direction.
