UCSB Converts to C# .NET with SQL Server from Adabas/Natural

The University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), had been using ADABAS and Natural for all of its student and administrative functions for many years. UCSB wanted a more agile and less expensive solution which would take full advantage of the web and preserve their business rules. Modern Systems completed the assessment process, reducing the scope of the project from 11,000 source code components to 7,000, and is nearing completion on the conversion. The new applications are C# .NET and use Microsoft SQL Server.
