Brandon Edenfield, President and CEO

 Modern Systems CEO, Brandon EdenfieldBrandon Edenfield is the president and chief executive officer of Modern Systems. Previously, Brandon was in the role of executive director in the Application Modernization division of Dell Services. In this role, he was responsible for developing and delivering services and solutions to help customers reduce the cost of transitioning business-critical applications and data from legacy computing systems onto modern architectures, including the cloud. Prior to joining Dell, Brandon was the president and founder of Clerity Solutions, which he founded in 1999 and successfully sold to Dell Services in 2012. Clerity was a leading global provider of application modernization and legacy system re-hosting solutions and software. Under his leadership, Clerity’s customer base grew to include clients in all major countries, including some of the largest financial services ISVs and Fortune-class end users. Brandon has been working in the open/distributed and legacy IT systems community for more than 28 years, and is an industry recognized thought-leader in enterprise application migration and modernization.

Cameron Jenkins, Executive Vice President

Modern Systems EVP, Cameron JenkinsAs Modern Systems Executive Vice President, Cameron oversees sales, marketing, technology products and solutions on a global level. Prior to joining Modern Systems, Cameron served as executive director & global practice lead for the Application Modernization division of Dell Services. At Dell Services, Cameron was responsible for sales operations and helping set the company’s strategic direction for application modernization services. Additionally, Cameron established and managed alliances with platform, technology and service partners and was the primary interface with services marketing and analyst relations.

Prior to joining Dell, Cameron was COO and executive vice president of Clerity Solutions. Clerity was a leading global provider of application modernization and legacy system re-hosting solutions and software. Under his guidance, Clerity’s customer base grew to include clients in all major countries, including some of the largest financial services ISVs and Fortune-class end users. Cameron has been working in the open/distributed and legacy IT systems community for more than 25 years. He began his career in sales management at AT&T. He then held the position of vice president of marketing and alliances at Acucorp and then as senior director of marketing at Informix Software.

James Carpenter, VP of Engineering

James Carpenter, VP of EngineeringJames Carpenter is the vice president of engineering at Modern Systems. James is responsible for all of the product development team efforts for conversion, modernization, analysis and documentation technologies. James is an expert software designer and developer, earning accolades such as: Microsoft's Technology Achievement Award for the ATP Replatforming product, Info-Tech Research Group's Champion Vendor award for eavRPM and DB-Shuttle, Gartner's Cool Tool Vendor Award for eavRPM, Microsoft's Product Innovation Award for eav/eavRPM and SQL Server Magazine's Editor's Choice Award for DB-Shuttle. James has more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the application modernization space.

Cindy Howard, VP of Technology and Solutions

Cindy Howard, VP Technology and SolutionsCindy Howard is vice president of technology and solutions at Modern Systems. Cindy works directly with customers to formulate and architect the best possible modernization path for their business. A recognizable and influential voice in modernization for more than 20 years, Cindy has helped customers such as Edward Jones, Progressive Insurance and more, to plan and execute successful modernization strategies. Prior to Modern Systems, Cindy was a co-founder of ATERAS, directing hundreds of successful projects and influencing the development of award-winning technologies like DB-Shuttle® and eavRPM®. Cindy’s analysis and development expertise includes requirements studies, system analysis, data analysis, project planning, budgeting, system design, data modeling, database design, prototyping, conversion and implementation.

John Regan, VP of Global Service Delivery

John Regan, VP of Service DeliveryJohn Regan is vice president of global service delivery at Modern Systems, based in the U.K. In this role, John is responsible for the delivery of all of Modern Systems' service engagements, customer support and maintenance. He is also responsible for lending technical support to sales opportunities. John has played critical roles in some of the company's largest engagements, from Police Mutual to Desjardins to Barclay's. John started his career with Modern Systems through the acquisition of BluePhoenix in 1994 where he was also the vice president of delivery. Prior to BluePhoenix, John worked in New York for First Boston Bank.
